I wish the rain would patter against my window tonight and I wish my cat would lie on my stomach and I wish the fire exit sign I stole didn’t shine so brightly and I wish the shadows would stop moving, but most of all, I wish I had fallen asleep four hours ago.
Sidenote: I wrote this last night in a state of frustrated sleep delirium, and found it in the notes section on my phone, with hardly any recollection of writing it, but I think it holds a sort of elegance to it so I figured I would post it. Definitely one of my shorter posts haha.
I am also not an insomniac! This was just for lack of a better title. Oh great, now my side note is longer than the blog post itself.
