I don’t think I will ever truly be able to comprehend the beauty of how nonchalantly nature works alongside our emotions and mentality.
Feeling angry? Sit down by a riverside and throw some pebbles into the water. Yell at the top of your lungs in the middle of an empty field. Nature isn’t going to fight back; it’s there to help you get through it.
Feeling anxious? Take a walk in a forest. Allow the soft crunch of the leaves beneath your feet to calm your soul.
Feeling neglected? Look after your potted plants and show them the attention you know you deserve from others.
Feeling misunderstood? Tell your troubles to the trees and mountains. They may not be able to respond in a way you can comprehend, but they may be able to silently help you clear your mind.
It is as though earth is the oldest therapist of all, always available to be by your side and accompany you through the darker days when no one else can.
